How to get to the range:

The range facilities are located approximately one mile East of I-10 at the base of the Franklin mountains near Exit 0. There are two basic ways to get here:

From Exit 0 on I-10

The road leading to I-10 West from Antonio Street is actually a two-way road, not only an on-ramp. Follow the road to the right, past the cattle guard. Take the first dirt road to the right, and continue eastward until you arrive at the club's gate.

From NM 404

There is a road used by pipe line inspectors (EPNG Pipeline Road, on the map) that connects with NM 404 in the Anthony Gap, roughly near mile marker 3. Head south along that road until you come to the intersection at the club's gate.

Note: Because the pipeline road crosses two large arroyos, it can be difficult to take this route without a high-clearance vehicle.

Weekly Matches

Weekly shooting matches are help at ELPGC on Wednesdays and Sundays. The public is welcome to attend and participate, or just tour the facility. Look at the calendar section for more information about matches and times. Otherwise the range is locked for members only.

Club Information

The El Paso Gun Club, Inc. was founded in 1972 as a for-profit organization dedicated to the safe use and enjoyment of firearms. The corporation operates an outdoor firing range complex consisting of rifle and pistol firing ranges in the far northwest area of the City of El Paso, Texas.

The club also hosts regular shooting events which emphasize our commitment to the safe enjoyment of firearms, provide a means for members to improve their marksmanship skills, and allow both serious competitive marksmen and hobbyists the opportunity to meet for fun and the pleasure of our sport.

El Paso Gun Club is both an NRA-affiliated and a CMP-affiliated club.

Membership is open to any member of the public who is legally capable of possessing a firearm and who conscientiously follows the rules of safe gun handling and operation. Members pay a yearly membership fee to enjoy unlimited use of our range facilities from sunup until sundown, 365 days of the year. Go to the club application page for more information.
